More Nicaragua Pics

Highlights from our trip that I seem to have forgotten to take pictures of:
  • The full moon trip that many took to see hundreds of sea turtles laying their eggs... (I didn't get to go on this trip)
  • The pirate party-rehearsal dinner-pig roast, in which everyone was dressed like pirates.
  • The all-day boat ride in which I started with a round of beers at 9:00 am. We ate an BBQ lunch on a remote beach, swam in the warm water, and picked up trash that had washed to shore.

Thanks for the photos! I have been viewing some on facebook! You looked lovely and those shoes! Wow! I am sorry to hear that Lili got sick. Scary. Being sick in a foreign country is scary, especially a baby. I am glad she is feeling better!

Hi sweet love! As you know, I am addicted to your blog and what fun it is to see pictures of last week's adventure. Thanks for posting them. My favorite, of course, is Lili and your shoes. Seriously, what a moment!!! She is a beautiful little girl...thank you for being brave and bringing her to Nica. I still can't believe it went as smoothly as it did. There is a NY Times Article in today's paper about the unrest in Managua. Evidently, the election was rigged. Ryan Rodriguez wrote a bit about his experience the day we left on his facebook page. I love you dearly. Thank you for decorating the arch. We have lots to talk about.

miss you already. Thank you for being my sister. I love the book...and the toast!

XOXO,
CT

P.S. I miss it already!
