I wasn't sure how to do this, and for a moment- just a moment- I considered rigging it (mostly making it so Becca, who has a million of my paintings, wouldn't win. But, then I just decided that she would be equally appreciative), so this was an un-rigged drawing if you were wondering. Because you might be wondering, as the winner is my mother-in-law and she also had a very difficult week this past week and is sad. I guess in one way it was rigged considering that I had her granddaughter pick- Gita must be in tune with her I suppose!
I wanted everyone to win :( but I will be doing this again. It was fun and so many of you entered! I really appreciate all of your comments too. Thanks for all the support!
(Nene, I will post some to pick from tonight!)

Good things come to good people! It was fun just thinking we might win :-) But as I do already have two original KKL paintings/pieces of art, I am pretty lucky already! Not that I wouldn't like to add more. Have a fabulous day!
I just love the way you chose the winner and the little name tags are like tiny works of art in themselves!

Gita is incredible! What a lovely assistant! I think the success of your first drawing is an indicator that you should keep doing art! :)
Oh my goodness gracious! Well, of course I'm balling my eyes out, but these are happy tears. Thanks to all the spirits of the universe that guided my precious Gita Pi's sweet little hand. Just another sign to me that hard times never last. This is just the beginning of the magic, I'm sure. Love to all my mountain family. Tee-Hee!

Thanks so much for the giveaway! Gosh - I think I'll go over to supria's site to see about her give away. What fun. We've all been connected together through you --- nice.
I can't think of a better winner than Kathleen! Your painting will now become a family heirloom - to be passed down for generations to come - and it comes with its own sweet story. And we all are, of course, our stories...
love you
